Dr. Nguyen's interest in orthodontics was inspired by her own experience as an orthodontic patient and the impact it had on her confidence. She values the specialty for its blend of science, precision, and creativity, and she enjoys developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Dr. Nguyen believes the best outcomes come from collaboration between patients, families, and the orthodontic team. She is committed to evidence-based care, clear communication, and creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident. She aims to make every experience a positive one that reflects quality treatment, and she is beyond excited to serve patients in the Lakewood area.
Dr. Nguyen is a proud triple Husky! She attended the University of Washington where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology in 2018. She then continued on at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her dental school class, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2023. Dr. Nguyen recently completed her Master of Science and orthodontic training at the University of Washington. Go Dawgs!

Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen loves spending time with friends and family and exploring the outdoors with her dog Sammy, rain or shine, because Sammy doesn't believe in days off. She's on a mission to visit a new country every year, so her passport is getting quite the workout. When she's not exploring the world, you'll find her in the kitchen cooking up something new, halfway through a mystery novel, or fully hooked on her favorite TV series, The Traitors. As a devoted Seattle sports fan, Dr. Nguyen never misses a chance to cheer on the Huskies and the Seahawks during football season, and she's still patiently waiting for the day the Mariners finally win it all!
